Emily Hill has just finished her studies in Footwear Design at University of Arts, London. She entered the Specsavers competition after hearing about it through her university to expand her existing design portfolio.
'When it comes to fashion, I tend to focus on the details, like jewellery, sunglasses and shoes. It sounds like a cliché but I've always been very inspired by Alexander McQueen, it was unbelievable what he managed to achieve in the fashion industry. I'm very much a traditional designer, all of my designs come from preliminary drawings.'
